Senior Transfer Pricing Specialist – Springer Nature

You will be part of the Springer Nature global tax team based in Berlin. Together with the colleagues you will support international transfer pricing topics of Springer Nature Group with a focus on the Macmillan Education segment. You can expect exciting and challenging tasks related to the entire range of transfer pricing topics of a global publishing group.

Tasks

• Analysis of business models and corporate structures (value chain analyses, functional and risk profiles)
• Establishment and implementation of transfer pricing strategies, policies and models as well as their monitoring and compliance
• Monitoring the legal framework in the relevant countries and developments at the global/OECD level
• Coordination, establishment and development of global and local transfer pricing documentation with the use of a tool (Local Files, Master File, Country-by-Country Report) in collaboration with external advisors
• Coordination and support of transfer priicng audits globally
• Establishment and management the global contractual framework for intra-group transactions
• Collaboration and exchange with the operational business areas, the corporate and finance teams as well as external advisors and tax authorities
• Support in projects with a TP focus (e.g. post-merger integration, restructuring, operationalization of transfer pricing)

Profile

Essential:

• Completed degree in Economics and/or Business Administration or Law
• 3 years or more of relevant experience in a tax consulting company or group tax department, covering transfer pricing
• Very good theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of transfer pricing
• Proven experience in transfer pricing projects
• Interest in developing innovative and practicable solutions at a high professional level
• Affinity with numbers, quick comprehension and strong analytical skills
• High level of commitment and sense of responsibility
• Very good MS Office knowledge
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Flexibility to travel (post Covid-19)

Desirable:

• Experience in using tools such as accounting-, tax- and reporting tools (e.g. SAP, Hyperion Financial Management or similar)
• Knowledge of contract law
• Certified tax advisor
