Important changes in VAT in Poland – new rules on e-invoicing and central register of invoices

A new type of invoice, structured invoices, will be available beginning January 1, 2022, in addition to traditional paper and electronic invoices. The Nationwide System of e-Invoices, a national IT effort, will issue and receive them in a standardized XSD format (KSeF). KSeF-based e-invoicing will most likely become mandatory on January 1, 2023. 

Effective date: January 1, 2022
