Mr Velten is one of the leading tax practitioners in the Asia Pacific region and brings an unprecedented level of experience to the firm, particularly in the area of financial services transfer pricing. Most recently, Mr Velten was Global Head of Tax for Asia’s leading independent brokerage and investment  group. Prior to that, he headed the Asia (ex-Japan) Tax Department of a large U.S. Investment Bank. Velten has also been a tax partner in a leading international law firm as well as a Big 4 accounting firm in the Asia region.
