The Next Phase of Transfer Pricing in Vietnam

Hong Kong, May 2010 - These new regulations are the clearest indication to date that the Vietnamese tax authorities are moving into a phase of transfer pricing enforcement, following the initial introductory period since 2006. As we have witnessed in neighbouring China and other Asian jurisdictions, the transfer pricing declaration form will be used by the tax authorities as the primary risk assessment tool to identify high risk taxpayers for further investigation.
