USA Cost Sharing Regulations - 2009 Update |
The new temporary regulations issued by the Treasury Department and the IRS on December 31, 2008 maintain the same general principles, with respect to cost sharing, as the proposed regulations from August 2005. The modifications made to the 2005 proposed regulations are expected to result in increased compensation in PCTs, and in greater ability of CSAs enacted prior to January 5, 2009 to avoid application of the new regulations.
